Pick a lane, then put your spin on it.

Forty-five original builds, sorted by the job they do across six journeys: capture the contact, convert the sale, retain the buyer, win back the almost-gone, announce the news, or earn trust. Every one is a starting point, not a cage. Swap colors, words, triggers and shapes in the studio.

Three steps

From idea to live widget in one sitting

01

Choose a build

Start from a template or an empty canvas. Each one ships with layout, timing rules and copy that already makes sense.

02

Shape it in the studio

Edit content, colors and behavior with a live preview. Test triggers on demand. No deploy, no guesswork.

03

Copy the embed line

One script plus one config tag. Paste before your site's closing body tag and it's live. Edits sync automatically.

Included

Every widget carries the full toolkit

No tiers, no view-count meters counting your traffic for you. Built-in from day one:

01 · Triggers

Six popup triggers

Page load, on-page timer, scroll depth, scroll-past-element, click-a-button, or exit intent (desktop). Choose the trigger that fits your campaign.

02 · Frequency

Honest frequency rules

Every load, once per day, once per week, once ever, or keep showing until it's dismissed, then rest for a day.

03 · Targeting

Page paths with wildcards

All pages, or a list of paths to include or exclude. Use /shop/* style patterns to cover whole sections.

04 · Devices

Per-device on/off

Desktop and phone separately. Exit-intent knows not to run on touch screens without being told.

05 · Blocks

Stackable content blocks

Badge, heading, text, image, video embed, countdown, copyable code chip, quick-pick buttons, CTA, links row, fine print.

06 · Leads

Lead intake that lands somewhere

Forms and tap-buttons save responses on-device, and can POST to any webhook (Sheets, Zapier, CRM) the moment they arrive.

07 · Performance

Lazy render, light hit

Nothing loads until the popup is summoned. Slow pages stay fast. Animation styles are opt-in, not forced.

08 · Re-entry

Sticky door-knock button

A round, discreet button that re-opens the popup anytime. Good for deals that deserve a second look.

09 · Signals

Signals you can actually use

Open/submit events stream to GTM's data layer when present, and every view is tallied under My popups.

Your shelf

My popups

Your popups live in your account, so they follow you between browsers. Each saved popup gets its own install code, and studio edits sync to the live site.

The install code

Sign in, save a popup, then copy its install code from My popups. Paste this pair anywhere before </body> — the id in the div is yours:

<!-- PopForge install. Paste before </body> --> <div data-popforge="wan_your_widget_id"></div> <script src="https://your-popforge-host/popforge.js"></script>
How it stays in sync. The snippet carries only your widget id. Visitors' browsers fetch the live config, so editing or republishing in the studio updates every installed copy without touching the site again. Installing requires a free account: guests can design and preview, but the install code is issued only for popups saved to your account.
Platform note. Where a builder traps widgets inside an iframe (Wix's editor preview walls, Canva, Google Sites), fixed widgets may be boxed in. Install into the page body itself where the platform allows a custom-code block. On pure-code platforms (WordPress + HTML block, Shopify custom liquid, Webflow embeds, GitHub Pages, any static host) it behaves normally.

Website popup builder: common questions

Use PopForge to create email signup forms, discount offers, announcements, age gates and other website popups. Explore all 45 popup templates or read the website installation guide.

What is PopForge?

PopForge is a free website popup builder with a visual editor, 45 templates, saved designs, website embed code and lead capture.

Do I need an account?

You can design and preview popups as a guest. Create an account to save popups online and get installation code. Guest drafts are stored in your browser.

How do I add a popup to my website?

Save your design, open Publish in the studio, and copy the installation code. Paste the widget div and script before the closing body tag of your website.

Can I use PopForge with WordPress, Shopify or Webflow?

You can install the embed where your platform permits custom HTML or theme code. WordPress Custom HTML, Shopify theme code and Webflow embeds are options, depending on your plan and permissions. Popups placed inside an iframe cannot extend outside that iframe.

What popup triggers are available?

Choose a page-load, delay, scroll-depth, scroll-to-element, click or desktop exit-intent trigger. Configure page targeting, device settings and frequency rules for each popup.

Where are captured leads stored?

Responses submitted through installed hosted popups are stored in the PopForge database and associated with your saved widget. Your account controls access to your widget data. Optional client-side webhook URLs are visible to website visitors and must not contain private credentials.

Does PopForge guarantee better conversions?

No. Results depend on your audience, offer, placement and timing. Test designs on your website and respect visitor preferences.
